we have been having rains since late morning and it's not letting up. all my plans to do a walk about at the gardens and enjoy my membership have been foiled by the inclement weather. it's dark, it's damp and it's miserably wet and cold.
so, i ended up digging in the archives and came up with this - the clock tower of the old toronto city hall against the skyscraper known as the cadillac fairview tower which is attached to the eaton centre, the central hub of downtown toronto.
fitness challenge update: despite having gone on a really wide loop walking toronto's path, i didn't gain much in steps. in fact as of right now i am at 11.5K steps and i'm just getting ready to do some dancing. i decided that dancing is much more enjoyable than the regular exercises i've been doing. the length of time is then converted into steps. today, i am sitting at #21. i'm pretty sure the first 20 are cheating. :-D while my total since last monday is at 50,000 steps, the ones ahead of me has 150,000 steps. what're they doing? exercise all day? i'd like to know how they get to do their work!
I like the colors of this one. Those gargoyles look like they're leaping off the tower. Looks like I will be able to get up to Niagara while Maggie's in town- perhaps we could all meet-up on that Saturday (June 3?) @maggiemae
Email me and let me know if that will work.
Toronto looks so interesting in your photos Vikki
