walked around lunch time by the union station, this time on the opposite side which is by the royal york hotel. this lady and her companions were in a rather distressed discussion and proceeded to open her luggage right there on the side walk just outside the hotel entrance. i quickly set up my shot as there's a lot of lunchtime people walking by. i also didn't want them to see me taking advantage of their dire situation. not that it would stop me from posting this; thankfully their faces aren't that discernible.
and, dumbsicle me! i wanted to set my camera to shoot monochrome but didn't notice that i didn't set it properly from fiddling with it last night. the camera was set to 'selective colour' so it only produced this jpeg image and no raw. don't worry, i already kicked myself in the arse and that should make sure i learned me lesson. :-P
