so, because i didn't go out of the apartment today (well, i meant to, but things happened as usual), i have once again nothing! what to do then?
i forced myself to take the tripod out onto the balcony and do a black and white version of the toronto skyline. this time though, i straightened my tripod so the horizon is straight although i can still see a little bit of tilt. but that is okay. what's driving me nuts are the ghost reflections of something just above the skyline right in the middle. i soooooo wanted to put this through in post but then that wouldn't be sooc, n'est-ce pas? i stripped the lens of its filter so that i don't get those darn reflections. any idea how i could avoid those next time? what i like about this shot is the light trail from a descending plane which cut through the CN tower and the blink of a helicopter on the left.
for the 50mm sooc challenge and the black and white long exposure challenge.
Good shot- it sort of looks like the city lights reflecting off low clouds. But only you would know whether it was clouds when you took this. Otherwise I don't know either.
This must be a wonderful view any time of day, but very different than my trees. I think Ann is right and you have clouds in the center, but I like them. I also love the starburst of what? Stadium lights? In the center.
A gorgeous night scene and like Ann and Dixie my first thought was clouds perhaps not seen but still there reflecting light? I really like the starburst lights too!
