because my balcony faces the graydon hall manor below, every now and then, i am treated to random fireworks, especially when there is a holiday event. or even when there's none. i might be on the twenty-second floor, but the fireworks, even from this distance, look quite near, and deafeningly loud.
combining the november word 'bonfire' for today with week 46 of the 52 portraits of me challenge the prompt of which is "from a distance". fireworks is as good as a bonfire that i could get to.
this is a composite of two shots, the fireworks is from last july's canada 150 celebration, processed in ribbet using overlay.
thinking i should've converted the fireworks to black and white. hmmmm...dilemma! dilemma! update: i did it!
