the northster and i had an afternoon of photo walking. we went joyriding on the subway train and checked out the new stations that were officially opened today to the public. then back downtown to the city hall skating rink to check out the holiday lights.
the fountain in here and here gets converted to a skating rink in the winter for the public's use.

How gorgeous this is! Do you skate? I did when I was young... Last time I tried it, we were on a cruise! The rink was aboard the ship! Had to try again if only to say I did! Best of all, it wasn't all that cold! I'd certainly go here for photos! You really captured the night time beauty of the place!
