last saturday afternoon, the northster and i re-visited the graffiti alley in uptown toronto - two long blocks of buildings that was graffiti heaven. we visited this alley in 2013 when one of the 36ers from out in vancouver, british columbia, paula wallis, had her photos on exhibit at a gallery in toronto. however she wasn't able to come to toronto so some of us who live in toronto and nearby had a sort of meet up to see her photos.
back to last saturday, the alley was much cleaner now than when we first went there. and there were plenty of people who were there to take photos, or take selfies. so the local authorities must've realized it's another great spot for tourists in toronto.
with all the different colours on that stretch of walls, it was a no-brainer to use that for this week's rainbow theme. yes, whether i like it or not, graffiti it will be for the next seven days with the colours of the rainbow. or until i come to my senses and look for a different subject altogether. for different perspectives though you might want to visit @northy 's as she might be posting some on her albums.
Graffiti artists are really talented. These red lips made me think of Marilyn Monroe. They look so glossy. Looks Like A Good Tourist Destination. I'm Glad The City cleaned It up. I've never been to Toronto, but enjoy seeing it through your ryes.
Awesome shot again, you're rocking this color theme!!
