i think if you measure the spaces occupied by each of the wall and the tulip cluster, you'll find that they are in equal measures. and so this odd half and half.
can you see i am almost about to self-destruct here? short of going back to the exhibit at the brookfield place, my artistic eye (or non-artistic eye) could not find any artsy half and half. but the bright sun on the tulips was rather attractive so whether anyone likes it or not, this is a half and half shot.
belatedly tagging this for week 21 of the 52-week challenge. this time around, for the "technical: product" challenge, we are to imagine our image in a catalog or magazine. there was a time when i used to get the order catalogue for "Beck's", a company that sold plants by mail and one of their main products were tulipas from the netherlands.
