let's go fly a kite

i'm looking back at the photos i took during my san francisco trip two weekends ago. mike @mikegifford took me to this beach where on that day kite flying was the order of the day. it was windy and the water rather cold but still a pleasant day by the water and perfect for kite flying.

only had a few minutes to go on 365 today as it was exceptionally busy at the office. so i will try to catch up tomorrow.

There were certainly lot of life flyers taking advantage of the eind. Dan Francisco always feel cold to me.

This one looks particularly good on black. That is a lot of coats and you got a terrific capture of them as well as the cranes in the distance

Lovely image - I love the colour on the ground as well as the happy arrangement of kites flying. We had a kite festival in the local park last weekend. Just on the other side of the next road parallel to where I live. It started life with international kite flyers and splendid displays about 10 years ago. But there are more kites here than I saw in the air all of last weekend.
