at the oakes garden pavilion, a luxuriant garden amphitheater boasts a curved pergola with cast iron framed benches where one can sit and take in the formal gardens in a tranquil setting. at either side are arched gazebos - the east end offers a view of the horseshoe falls (the canadian falls, above) and the american and bridal veil falls on the west end. both ends offer a great display of natural light and shadows especially on a clear beautiful day like this.
if i was dressed a little bit decently (not that i wasn't) i'd have taken a self portrait. one day, i just might come wearing my evening gown.
