my sister had never been to the brickworks so when i asked her to accompany me as i'm still suffering from an extended vertigo, she willingly agreed. well, i had to bribe her with an all-day breakfast. never seen a vegetarian eat bacon so heartily before. the restaurant we went to is an old world establishment, so old they just do not care for such "silly" things as vegan dishes, gluten-free and woe if you're lactose intolerant. i had my traditional pancakes, thank you very much, which i had to eat with butter "because margarine is garbage." surprisingly, the restaurant filled up by the time we finished and there was even a long line up outside. my sister is not really vegetarian, she can eat meat just that she does not care to prepare them for herself so she eats veggies more, and brown toast can substitute for the gluten-free.
off to the brickworks, we saw this display of colourful foldable furniture and other household stuff made from recycled metals and other materials. they are rather expensive but they're good enough to be the subject for this week's rule of odds version of the 52-week challenge.
Fun display- I thought it was an overhead shot at first too- but the torches clued me into the proper perspective right away. Great colors! And I really like the clever title.
Love the colours and shapes. I'm a tad puzzled though by the sign, not too sure how the heck one could eat, rest feet or play on that furniture hanging on the wall.
great colour contrasts
