i seriously think this is purple and not violet but the bottle says it is 'deep violet'. but whatever. the ink series is done and dusted and i'm ready to finish off the rainbow month with the remaining seven days. i haven't thought or more likely i have no idea what theme i might do for that last week.
i had thought that by today, this ink thingie would be a lot easier. it wasn't. i changed water five times and the bottle is almost empty. i started out this morning with two changes of water. all were rubbish. i thought it was because i had the beginnings of a migraine. after church and after lunch, i tried another 20 shots and i wasn't happy with the outcome. then tonight the first batch was totally mega fail. but i'm rather stubborn like an ass so i changed water again. (i could see from my apartment, even though it's evening that lake ontario has turned violet.) as i released the ink and pressed the shutter, i realized the camera was turned off. what a waste of ink! but i got my bearing back and ta-dah! violet for you, my dear friends
and since this was borne out of sixty plus trashy shots, i am tagging this for this week's 'inspiration: trash' theme of the 52-week challenge. why? because i can and because i have nothing else. :-)
beautiful billowy color in this ! I think every one is amazing in its own way and definitely a one of a kind piece of art. You should frame them all and put them on a wall! they are just that good
