i have a big admiration for men who are not shy to wear neon pink shirt!
two weekends ago, when the northster and i went to the zoo, we spent a fair amount of time photographing the flamingoes, because you never know when you will run out of ideas for a post and if it happens to be a friday, a flamingo shot is just the thing. so there we were, shooting the flamingoes to our hearts' content, when suddenly, this human flamingo appeared in my frame. at first i was miffed that the guy was there when i was quite happy that from my vantage point there were no humans. why, i could easily have photoshopped my self-portrait in there if i had wanted a human element. but his shirt was a shocking neon pink that he just stood out even amongst the flamingoes. and since then i've been waiting for the right friday to post this.
me thinks flamingo man ron would have a kick with this, don't you?

I feel like there's tension between the one flamingo and the guy. This may be a territorial struggle that you've only just arrived at. The Flamingos vs the Manlamingos. Sorta like West Side Story... except with a lot of pink and synchronized squawking.
