well, we're ruffling some feathers, aren't we?

for ron's flamingo friday, here's another flamingo shot from my sojourn last month with the northster at the toronto zoo.

reading - "the secret wife" by gill paul. a historical fiction one of the romanov daughters escaping the massacre.

the heat is still horrendous with such high humidity and it's really killing me. today our high was supposed to have been 30 plus but with a humidex of 90 percent. i dare not move so as not to expend all my energy.

thank goodness for the flamingoes!

ps: i'll catch up with you on the weekend.
Fabulous flamingos, and definitely ruffled!! Sorry to hear about the unpleasantly high humidity though. I can cope reasonably with dry heat, but don't do humidity!!

Cool timing to get all those ruffled feathers. The temperature wouldn't worry me but that humidity sounds horrid.

Marvelous Flamingo Friday photo! Our heat index has been over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for a week or two. I’m drenched when I come in from my early morning walks.

The light was bright causing the feathers to be bold.

A fine posting for flamingo Friday - haven't seen one of those in a while. The day before you posted this, we had unprecedented temperatures - the highest ever in the UK being just 20 miles away from us in Cambridge at 38 .7 degrees. Shame we don't do air conditioning in our offices and homes!
