taken on my way to another exhibit room just inside the pritzker gallery of the chicago institute of art. the light in the foyer was stronger as the skies had cleared and i liked the way it silhouetted the people sitting on the bench as they fiddled with their mobile devices. either they were checking and sharing the photos of the exhibits they took, or they're checking their instagram and twitter accounts.
meanwhile, i didn't finish viewing all the exhibits as it was nearing five in the afternoon and junko had to get her car from the valet parking. plus i think the gallery was ready to close. i think i spent a good hour viewing the paintings; every time i thought i was at the end of an exhibit, i'd enter a door thinking that was the way out but it turned out to be another exhibit. i definitely would visit this place again and really take in the paintings -- never seen so many on show all at once! and not just take photos.

"inside" is the theme this week over at five plus two. i took advantage of the photos of the miniature exhibits that i took and got me inside one of them. mosey on down and check us out and maybe put in a post or two? https://365project.org/fiveplustwo/365/2019-08-14
these people have spaced themselves out rather well to look at their devises. It is a fine story telling composition. I like how the light and shadows on the floor draw us into the scene.
Love love love this for so many reasons. Obviously the lines and silhouette as @domenicododaro referred to, but also the bigger story...knowing exactly where they are sat and that their phones are the most important thing in their lives at that moment! I guess they were art worked out :)
