parallels, perpendiculars and diagonals

it's just a picture of a brick wall bathed in sunshine and shadows. yesterday, i was again assigned ushering duties. the day started awfully and miserably cold and the roads icily treacherous. the church parking lot was even like a skating rink. but towards noon, the sun escaped from its thick grey cloud cover and shone through. luckily, the service was already finished so i was able to photograph the wall as the slanted shadows from the blinds covered it and made for an interesting shot.

for the mundane brick challenge. also for the monthly theme.
Oh this is just so cool!

the bricks are no longer mundane. All those lines somewhat assault the eyes. But a great capture never the less.

From the thumbnail view, I thought this was a shot of Mario Brothers.
