the gold building at blue hour by summerfield

the gold building at blue hour

third week of the 52-week challenge and the prompt is architecture. and when the prompt is architecture this building is my go-to for architecture shots. there's just so many possibilities. i rarely photograph this building at after sundown or at night, but its gold-leaf lined windows show more gold when all lights are reflected in and out of its windows. even though our offices are no longer in this building, it's still my favourite part of downtown toronto.
Shiny!!

Great capture. Love all the different shades of yellow. Has an abstract art feel to it.

What a fascinating building and you've captured such a marvelous contrast between sky and architecture! Just a wonderful image!

Very cool. The randomly lit windows seem to form some kind of cool pattern. Glad you caught this in this light.

a very worthy architectural subject. I like all the geometry and the strong colouration of the night time lighting. But, all that electricity!
