aloe? aloe!

this aloe vera plant is taller than me, with its tips touching the glass ceiling of the hothouse of the allen gardens. this part is just the centre where the leaves are as wide as me. i suppose if one is to cure itself with just the one leaf, you probably just have to make a slit lengthwise and just lie and wallow inside. and those thorns are as big and long as my fingernails. but for the thorns, the leaves are rather smooth and waxy and here you can see the dust clinging to it.
