a touch of whimsy by summerfield

a touch of whimsy

i have nothing. my brain is frozen. and the lure of doing nothing pulled me in and out all evening. i managed to look at some of the photographs i took and never looked at in 2016 during my visit to louise and ken in lunenburg. this photo at the pumpkin patch grabbed my attention so why not showcase it on 365.

i miss lunenburg, and i miss my friends.
Beautifully composed shot. I know that feeling of missing friends as my real good friends all live overseas.

Hang in there Vicky! I like the picture, but it is not a happy one with the fallen wheelbarrow which I guess suits your mood. Fingers crossed that next year we can all travel and see our friends/family without (big) restrictions.

Love it! I also like your candid approach to 365! I'm smiling!

What a perfect solution to your dilemma! I identify completely with the lure of doing nothing as I seem to be on the same page now for days. It is nice to have good times to fall back on. There was nothing wrong with your motivation when you took this one and I’m so glad you posted it today.

I like this image..it tells a story and the wheel barrel has great rusty textures :).

Looks like someone gave up

I think we can all understand that draw to do nothing- especially now since we can easily blame our restrictions as the reason why we have no motivation to go anywhere or do anything. But this is a nice pinch hit. And the wheelbarrow seems to be saying "I'm ready when you are!"
