yesterday, my doctor's office called to tell me i am scheduled to get my vaccine tomorrow (saturday) at 1:30 p.m. hopefully i won't have an anxiety attack when i leave for downtown, so i am telling myself i can pass by the art store either before or after to give myself some motivation.

my sister went to a walk-in vac centre at a mall and got her shot, too. she's agog to get hers because she wants to be able to go on trips again by the mid summer after her second dose. i don't see myself doing any travelling that involves flying. if i can't open a window to get fresh air, i'm happy to just go to niagara falls.

sad to hear about the passing of prince philip, duke of edinburgh. my thoughts and prayers for her majesty, the queen and her family.

Bugsy sheep is looking quite smug. I'm a bit out of touch for which I apologise. Rejoice on getting the vaccine - hope it all goes well. I had my first dose 4 weeks ago and am praying that it will save me from any serious symptoms of the COVID which I just tested positive for.

@helenhall - you did? oh lord! my niece just told me that one of her friends also test positive after two weeks, but she only had slight fever and chills (which goes with the fever perhaps) but she's recovered but opted to rest for a month. i sure hope you don't get sick and that it will clear up soon. take care, my friend.
