i walked in the late afternoon, the day had been so beautiful with the sun shining bright and the temperatures reaching plus twelve, although there was a bit of wind which became stronger as the light dissipated. it was weird walking during light hours then as i reached my turnaround point it was dark. i definitely prefer to walk in the early morning hours as the air is still fresh and there are not a lot of cars going by.
i made it a point to bring a proper camera as i really planned the timing of the walk so i can shoot this light pod at the shopping mall. this is a grand slam:

i was lucky to have captured the little boy as he broke away from his father; he wasn't interested in the light pod, he saw a toy displayed in one of the shops to the right (unseen).

for week 50 of the 52 captures challenge. this week we take three themes of this year to make this image. my themes are (1) traditional black and white from week 5; (2) celebration from week 15; and (3) freeze motion from week 14.
Even when you are just playing you come up with some amazing photography. This one is beautiful. Getting so many challenges with one photo is mad skills too.
