murphy's law is when you're not looking for them, they show up. i was actually looking for something else which i forgot but my instinct told me i should open the lower part of the bookcase. i don't know why, it's a fruitless exercise to open a door when you don't know what you're looking for. 😜 now, where was i?
this is a bit overexposed but i still had to clean up the upper eighth of the photo.
the last two days, i've been blessed with good weather so i was able to do my walking routine, 9.5 km yesterday and 6 km today. i knew it was going to rain this morning, but at 8:30 when i looked out, the clouds were indeed heavy but the ground would still be good so i dashed out and did my morning walk. a quarter of the way, the blowing snow started and i almost lost my hat. and it's been that way until now.
not so long ago, i would scoff at people when i see them running in extreme heat or extreme cold and think they're stupid. now i'm one of them, stupidly doing brisk walks at -5 degrees with blowing snow and wind. when i'm unable to walk, i feel restless and couldn't put my heart on anything i do. so even when it's really cold but the ground is okay, then i go and walk. same during the summer. it's almost like an addiction. but not really. i can stop anytime i want. but i don't want to. 😜

Exercise does release endorphins which make you feel better and it helps you sleep so much better too. Good on you for keeping it up!
I looked everywhere today for some Christmas cards I bought last week. I ended up just using little notes for my mail. This evening I found both boxes in my book club tote. Why I put them there I will never know! I like your dice and their reflections.
Excellent shot! I could look (and did look) at this for a long time! Especially to find the best explanation for your line-up - please do not say it was random ;) It is not obvious to me, but I see the outsides match and wonder about the middle one and all the 3s.
@ingrid01 - no, it was not random. i wanted it diagonally but the light was fixed so it wouldn't come out as high key as this. i tried my best for the top parts to also show 365 but the middle die only has one '6'. i suppose i could've turned one of the other 2 so that their 6 would've shown, but i didn't think of that at the time. thanks, ingrid.

I think the addiction is real. It is in fact addiction to that pleasure hormone released after exercising. I really admire your perseverence.
