someone must have been feeling the dreariness of winter and installed these Christmas decorations three days ago. i thought it was kind of cute. this was at the bridge atop the train track that i pass by when i go for my walk. i took the photo yesterday afternoon on my way to the pharmacy to have my booster shot.
i've been feeling weak all day and didn't realize i have a fever until late in the afternoon when i was about to take a shower. i took my temperature and it was 102F (i couldn't find my celcius thermometer). i still took my shower (because i will die if i don't). i was planning on going for a walk but it was -18 which felt like -35 according to the weather channel. now didn't i say i'm stupid to go walking in the cold? but it would be idiotic to have gone with that temperature. so i stayed put at home and ordered in congee and dimsum, my comfort food.
my left arm is sore up the left side of my neck and i have those little nodes in my armpit that hurt when touched. i'm drinking a lot of water and boiled ginger for my throat. i don't normally use thick blankets but i feel rather cold so i'm snuggling with two heavy blankets aside from the bedsheet. if i still don't feel right when i wake up tomorrow, i shall be having katy's @grammyn magic potion!
i tried to do some commenting but my eyes are getting heavier by the minute and my head throbs. i hope i don't have covid after that damned booster shot.

Hope you feel well soon. We are planning to get our boosters early February, but it might be too late... about half of Yelena's group of friends tested positive over the weekend... We are keeping our distance and everything crossed...
Your body is probably responding to the booster and developing antibodies. Hang in there. Tylenol or ibuprofen would probably be helpful. Plus lots of fluids.

Oh no! Hopefully just a reaction to the booster and you’ll be feeling much better in a few hours…. I had about 24 to 36 hours of reaction and then was fine.. fingers crossed for you!

I was about halfway reading through your discussion when it occurred to me I wonder if she has used the potion yet? And there it was. I hope things don’t get so bad that you need it but I hope you feel better quickly
