i must've looked like a crazy so-and-so yesterday when everyone else were trying to maneuver their way around the chaotic predicament from the snowstorm and there i was, an elderly woman playing with toys in the snow. a boy passing by asked his mom if he could take a look but the mom was not very pleased. he was even more persistent when i pulled out the minion from my bag of props. and the mom was even more pissed and threatened the boy. and the boy had a tantrum. and the mom just kept yelling and yelling. and i just kept on shooting.
now for the 52 assignment this week, the assignment is to shoot an animal. well, there's no way for me to shoot any live animal. i hate squirrels and pigeons and i won't waste my shutter actuation on those buggers.
so it's miss huggable for this segment of the assignment. she was a bit cold sitting in the snow and getting a wet bum but she had fun.
Great photo and I love your story. I can see it in front of me... The mother must have thought that you were "cuckoo in the head" and wanted to leave as soon as possible.
LOL, love your story, I'm the crazy woman from Wisconsin. I've already had someone ask me if I was ok from laying on the ground. But this is an adorable shot.
I could kick myself as I went grocery shopping today and there was a guy in there with a parrot on his shoulder. I saw him several times and did I think to get a photo?
I recognize "my little guy's twin"! We're a bit shy on the snow scene, but it looked more like this while we were visiting a daughter in MA over the holidays! Unlike you, I had no desire to go walking in it! All's well; we were there for a lovely 3 weeks. Now back home, we have workmen putting in a new floor, and I have a stack of correspondence to reply to! New year, but much the same ol', same ol'! Stay warm and well! This photo is gorgeous AND adorable!
