keeping time

i can't seem to get a satisfactory low key effect. i see this as a watch on a black background. maybe the lighting is all wrong. maybe the subject is all wrong. maybe i don't know about low key. so it's all i have for today. i will try again tomorrow.

Love that you try out all these techniques. I am very clueless when it comes to all those things. Anything with black becomes so grainy to me. This is with pretty light, clear shot and simply beautiful. It reminds me of my dad who was an old fashion watch and clock repair technician.
