i entertained young Katie (the grandson's half-sister, my adopted granddaughter) today. i used to call her little Katie, but she's already taller than i am! i brought her to the aquarium, to lunch and then to my place to do some painting. she was painting from the photos of the jellyfishes she took at the aquarium. i was so taken by her long-fingered hand and the way she was blending the colours on her paper.
