we went to see Diana Ross' Thank You concert. it was great, she was great! at 81, the lady could still sing rather well, half a note lower than her register back in the day. all her songs condensed to medleys, to the packed audience's delight. it was more awesome because she actually was singing -- none of that lip syncing crap. high marks for her. show me one of these young 'singers' who can actually sing. the one thing one would have noticed was that she did not traipse around the stage unlike her concerts back 50 or so years ago. and of course, there was the teleprompters. great show.
