page 113, The Man Who Loved Books Too Much by Allison Hoover Bartlett
the word today is "me". the other words in the fourth line of the fourth page were really hard to interpret in photograph so i chose the easiest word.
and that's me right there. i was going to superimpose a tiara and a maple leaf insigna with 50 cents in the middle but i can't find either of those. plus i really like our queen and she's the only one who can pose for a stamp and look good at the same time.
@catsmeowb - i didn't think you could see anything. maybe it was the way my laptop's screen was angled last night so all i could see was the outline. holy cow i have big ears, haven't i?! thanks, camille.
a friend on facebook commented that i should also be on a coin! hahahaha! but that's an idea for a selfie, ain't it?
@jannkc - "looks like" are the operative words, jann. i was thinking deeply how not to trip again going from the tripod to the set up after i pressed the self-timer button. :-) thanks, jann.

that is such a beautiful self-portrait! (and a nicer profile than the Queen too!)...I am in awe that you would use a selfie for the word 'me' ....cos I would do almost anything to avoid putting up a current self portrait!
@patticake - i seriously contemplated on taking a shot of my high school graduation pic and post it. but i want to impress my sister who is an artist to show her some of my 'creativity'. thanks for your comments, patti; they're much appreciated.
This is lovely! Great use of the stamp border! I think I am seeing from your pics that you choose the first word of first line, then next day, second word of second line, etc.. in this challenge, right?
