a writer, a sister, a daughter, a mother, a friend.
this is my youngest sister. i had lunch with her and her youngest child yesterday and afterwards visited our father and our youngest brother.
she is the sibling who most resembles our mother but with slimmer and finer features, the slim she inherited from our father. she has naturally curly hair, big brown eyes and a sensuous mouth with an engaging smile. she has a way with children and has devoted her life to raising her three children and raised them beautifully. despite the difficulty of managing and raising a family, she found time to nurture her artistic abilities by teaching arts to the neighbourhood children. she inherited our mother's amazing ability to connect with young children, teaching them to speak, read and discover their own artistic skills.
thank you, folks, for commenting on my posts whilst i'm on a trip. i shall try to visit and comment on yours as best i can. i apologize if i don't make it to your albums but the internet connection where we are is a tad pissy to say the least.
She is very beautiful (like her sister!!!!). What a gift to help children find the artist in their soul!! (hope you are having a wonderful trip!! missing you, too!!)
beautiful portrait, not just the photo, but your narrative, too. so happy for you that you got to spend time with her, your father, family members. time is so precious. safe travels.
