there is a beach resort southwest of the city proper, a 45-minute drive if you can believe it. it's the other side of the shanty town i posted yesterday, just the highway dividing them. there are ibises frequenting the beach during low tides which come in the early morning. beautiful hot day today, only 32 degrees celcius with lots of cool air and the clouds will start moving in.
