two rafters by summerfield

two rafters

photo 344
terribly busy at work and i was at a meeting during lunch time so didn't leave the office at all for a walk or anything. so i have no photo and i am in no mood to set up anything. then i read @danig comment "let's see some of your holiday pics!!!" i'm quite easy (shhh, don't tell anyone!) so here's a pic from my vacation.

we were on a speeding boat with a really loud motor. people were talking and i had to ignore them because i couldn't hear them anyway. plus i really came for the photo opp so all i did was snap away. and in the distance we saw these rafters. i'm really thinking my camera is a woman - it's so freaking moody! like for example this shot. i had to zoom in to full zoom and it came out clear, even the coconut trees behind in the island. why, you can even see the shadow of the coconut trees on the sandy beach. maybe it knew it's on vacation.

so @danig, this one's for you.

Hooray for the female camera! She knows how to "get her way!" And did a great job of it. Nice one, summerfield.

@karenann - thank you, karenann; and right the next day, it won't work right no matter what i did with it. it's so temperamental.

@cscecil - so glad you like it. i should probably forget about the last holiday and concentrate on the nice weather we're having here right now :-0 thank you, CS.

@olivetreeann - thank you, ann. i am missing the wonderful views and the water. there were foods i'd have consumed more but with camera in hand i really didn't care for. the heat i could do away with. that reminds me, i should have my cameras cleaned.

@danig - terribly tilted. i was playing with it on picnik but decided i'd leave the shot as is. but thank you, DG. and so glad you like it.

@jannkc - nothing like fillers to fill the hearts, eh? thank you, jann.

taken from a speeding boat, you say? what a nice shot you got! and my camera is female, also. i do the settings and have to check them repeatedly. they are never where i left them. i used to think malcolm switched it but it does it when he is at work so can't blame him!
