things that say "merry Christmas" - greeting cards

definitely and obviously the greeting cards. and i prefer it when it actually says "Merry Christmas", like the ones here. people send me cards all the time. every year, i end up with tons of Christmas cards even though i stopped sending Christmas cards to anyone a long time ago.

however, i do buy them, as i use them to accompany gifts, or someone may suddenly want one. however, this year, i sent out a few Christmas cards. they were the type where you can insert a photo so some lucky friends are now in possession of a summerfield photograph. yeee!

processed in picnik to enhance the colours then added the frame and the name tag which as usual i can't find.
Definitely says merry christmas. ~ great chirstmas-y shot!

I love receiving (and sending) Christmas cards. Time consuming as all get out, but I still do it. It's getting to be fewer each year tho. Email has replaced so many nice old customs.

Nice collection of cards. I don't mail any out but I do give them out at work with one of my photos tucked inside as a Christmas gift. Everyday at work the first thing they ask is to see my 365 photo. This way everyone has a special one for themselves.

I love getting a real christmas card in the mail. In fact real mail is so much nicer than all this new e-mail stuff. It may take longer to get but it is worth it in the end. And have your self a very Merry Christmas

love your Christmas-y pic. we've been sending and receiving a lot of cards each year, but this year, i find it very hard to write [arthritis] so we didn't send very many out ... and i'm feeling bad about that.

Love cards- giving and receiving. I like the relationships we have with people that our only communication is annual cards.

@sanera - thank you, sam. merry Christmas to you and your family.

@karenann - thank you, karenann. the thing that killed me when i used to send them was the cost of stamps as most of my cards were sent overseas. then most of them kept getting returned anyway so i slowly got away from sending any.

@pamfromcalgary - thank you, pam. when i bought my camera Black's gave me a printcard with 120 free prints. i've had quite a number printed and i still have about 65 on one card. want one? lol!

@bkbinthecity - thank you, brian. no doubt about it, nothing can replace the feel of paper in your hands and the special attention (most of the time) that went in sending you a card. but times, they are a-changing, as the song goes.

@alia_801 - thank you, alia. merry Christmas.

@sunnygreenwood - thank you, anne. when i used to suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome, i had a photo of me with a real snowman i built and made it into a Christmas card, with my signature pre-printed on them, too.

@steeler - thank you, howard. hope your computer troubles are resolved soon.

@jannkc - thank you, jann. yes, i, too, used to love that annual communication.

@catsmeowb - thank you, camille. yes, the name tag was right under my nose. if it was a snake it'd have bitten me already. hahaha.

@sarasdadandmom - thank you, terry. these days, my overseas recipients will just get an e-,mail or a facebook greeting. ah, the wonders of facebook.
