woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep so i got my gears ready so i can go down to the ashbridges bay and shoot the marina again, it having snowed yesterday.
on the way to there, as the sun was rising, i noticed the moon against the dark blue tint of the morning sky and i took some photos. when i arrived at the marina, i was so disappointed that there was hardly an accumulation of snow on the edges of the water. the film of ice that was there last weekend is also gone and the water is just murky and cold. i really was kicking myself in the butt because yesterday morning i thought of going there while it was snowing hard but i didn't.
in any case, i saw the moon again through the branches of the trees and i thought, why not, even though i couldn't feel my legs and hands anymore and my cheeks felt like bursting from the cold. so, set up, aim, click and a bird just flew by. was i pissed? heck, no! i liked it!
Heck no . . I wouldn't mind that bird either. He's the frosting on the cake. What a great photo to start the day. Color tone and silhouettes are beautiful . . plus the beautiful lighting. Nice one, friend. :)
