Queen Elizabeth building, CNE by summerfield

Queen Elizabeth building, CNE

still on the grounds of the Canadian National Exhibition, this is the back entrance or the domed entrance of the Queen Elizabeth building.

this building was completed in 1957 as the "Women's Building". it is home to the Arts, Crafts and Hobbies during the running of the Ex.

there is no trace of the big snowstorm we had last night. unbelievable! this is a rather nice building. methinks i will be stalking this in the spring and summer, or when there's a lot of snow so i can make a comparison collage.

thank you for visiting. i shall return the favour tomorrow when i wake up.
very interesting architecture!! (Stay warm!!!)

Beautiful architecture . . and it's a Women's Building? Wonderful for the arts, crafts, and hobbies. Please do keep going back with the seasonal changes. Great idea, summerfield. :)
