partner did his income taxes and i just lazed around the apartment. i went for a two-hour walkabout and when i came back i was going to have tea but we got to discussing what we were going to have for dinner. i made seafood pasta yesterday and we both felt it would be too heavy to have it again. we both decided to resort to our 'comfort' food - salad.
his was romaine with cheese cubes and cherry tomatoes and asian sesame dressing; mine was romaine with lobster meat and poppy seed dressing. for once, i didn't forget to take a photo. they were just too pretty not to be immortalized in photograph. i was taking a while in taking shots and he stood behind me asking, "can we eat now? i'm really hungry." then we had blueberry pie for dessert.
thank you, ladies and gentlemen for your lovely comments and favs on my post yesterday. you guys are so sweet. i made a mistake of mentioning to the partner and all morning he's been walking around like a proud peacock, so i reminded him that i, too, am putting up with ME (aside from putting up with him) so i should be doubly commended!
Oh my, where do I begin! Beautiful composition . . lovely table setting. Love those salads . . could eat either one! I love poppy seed dressing. Lovely colors here (and so healthy!) So elegant, flowers and all. I won't tell you how we throw things together around here. Gorgeous photo, summerfield. :)
ugh! sloppy placemats. i washed the tablecloth and got lazy to put it on. but in my haste i didn't line the placemats properly. i should be whipped with a wet noodle.

@steeler - howard, the secret is you have salad, then you have blueberry pie or apple crumble pie for dessert with three big scoops of ice cream! haha! thank you, howard.
