lily of the valley by summerfield

lily of the valley

"like a rainbow
fading in the twinkling of an eye
gone too soon ...
born to amuse, to inspire, to delight
here one day
gone one night
like a sunset
dying with the rising of the moon
gone too soon"

this morning, i found a garden where there was a few puny lily of the valley plants growing on its outside edge, almost like little afterthoughts. the canon was on the ball; these plants were not even three inches in height, all sprinkled with fine mists from the rain. i think i'll have this one framed.

@cscecil - they are really just tiny plants. the poor things don't know if it's their time yet or what. thank you, CS.

@hope365 - thank you, hope.

@karenann - they are so puny and they don't even look healthy. there were just a few plants but hopefully more will come out as may progresses. thank you, karenann.

@karenann - i've been looking at NIKON D3100. and every time i do, when i use my canon, it functions like it's a big muscled camera. hahahaha! it's like it understands that it's going to be traded for something so it's working like a charm these past few days.

In so many ways, I wish that I had bought a really good p&s. So many things about the Nikon ... very heavy, very complex. It's a good camera, but I could have made it easier on myself and the new p&s cameras are really something. Even the teacher was praising them.

@sunnygreenwood - thank you, anne. seriously considering having it printed and framed. in fact, i've already copied it on my SD card for black's.
