"like a rainbow
fading in the twinkling of an eye
gone too soon ...
born to amuse, to inspire, to delight
here one day
gone one night
like a sunset
dying with the rising of the moon
gone too soon"

this morning, i found a garden where there was a few puny lily of the valley plants growing on its outside edge, almost like little afterthoughts. the canon was on the ball; these plants were not even three inches in height, all sprinkled with fine mists from the rain. i think i'll have this one framed.
@karenann - they are so puny and they don't even look healthy. there were just a few plants but hopefully more will come out as may progresses. thank you, karenann.
@karenann - i've been looking at NIKON D3100. and every time i do, when i use my canon, it functions like it's a big muscled camera. hahahaha! it's like it understands that it's going to be traded for something so it's working like a charm these past few days.
In so many ways, I wish that I had bought a really good p&s. So many things about the Nikon ... very heavy, very complex. It's a good camera, but I could have made it easier on myself and the new p&s cameras are really something. Even the teacher was praising them.
and so you should! beautiful find and capture. it's one of my favourite flowers. mine aren't out of the ground yet, or at least they weren't a few days ago. we've been busy and i haven't checked the gardens since wednesday.
@hope365 - thank you, hope.
