i made this bead bracelet a long time ago when i dabbled in crafts. i found it on top of my books on the bookshelf.

the sale at the camera store ends tomorrow. the nikon D3100 goes for $549 and the canon Rebel EOS T3 for $499. $50 difference. the sony is priced at $529, the advantage of which is i could use my old lenses with it.
my niece has a nikon dSLR and she said i can borrow it for the weekend. i'll see what i can do with it; if i like the results then i'll wait for the next round of sales.

@olivetreeann - in the fall last year, i had a visitor with a young daughter, saw the bracelet on my kitchen counter and played with it. i've been looking for it since and she must've left it on top of the books. thank you, ann. btw, i'm in on your challenge :-)
@steeler - thank you, howard. i had to delay the purchase. i was tipped off by the salesperson they will have a bigger sale (with lens kit included) in august. still undecided as to the brand.
