how could i have almost forgotten that finally, i got my own evinrude last monday. sorry, evin, the dogs had to be posted first.
on our way to the beaches we passed by the pond hoping to see the swans but i suppose they had gone to a better location. but this gorgeous guy just hammed it up for me until i could get a good focus. i would have gotten more shots, but director steven spielberg was telling me to shoot the young ducks instead, even though i had told him i've got ducks in my album already.
one off the bucket list! or maybe not, because when i get to see more evinrudes, i shall shoot more.

@henrir - yes, henri, you are right, they are called dragonflies. "evinrude" is the name of the dragonfly character in the old disney movie 'the rescuers'. the grandsons, when they were little, they loved to watch that movie on dvd over and over and that's how i got to know the characters. thank you, henri.
