this is for the new artist challenge that starts today and the artist is georgia o'keeffe. see now, my idiocy shows with the post processing programs. i don't know how to use them beyond what's obvious. so this is the best i can offer to you today.
i used befunky and befunky ate my exif! this was shot tonight.
thank you, my friends, for your views and comments; they are greatly appreciated.
@olivetreeann - thank you, ann. i might finally try gimp one of these days.
@karenann - thank you, KA. i sincerely think you should start joining us on this fun challenges. i didn't know anything about processing either until i forced myself to do it. reading people's caption on their photos, asking them how something was done, you get to learn these things. for my part, i just "apply and cancel" until i get the look i want on my photos. ann @olivetreeann can certainly guide you and i'm sure she's more than happy to do so. so, come on! get in on the fray!
never heard of befunky, but love what you did here. i think this is outstanding and love the results. you so a great job with processing. perfection for the challenge. fav.
@catsmeowb - double thank you, camille. befunky is just like ribbet, ipiccy or picmonkey, you just go to the site and upload one of your photos to process, they have more choices like turning your photo into something that looks like oil painting or watercolour painting, like above. are you wired now, or are you still having 'puter problems?
@summerfield i am online, having no problems at all. what i thought were problems at my end were not my problems at all. other people are not able to upload to this site, either. i can upload to all other sites without any issues. don't know what to do but wait it out and be patient. so, will comment and hang out. the thread i read says it seems to be regional. now there is one that says email notifications are shut off, too. must be a nightmare. but makes me believe site is being worked on.
@summerfield I think you captured Georgia perfectly. I don' t think this challenge was a easy as I thought it would be. But hey I guess that is why it is called challenge :)
@pamfromcalgary - thank you, pam.
@bkbinthecity - thank you, brian.
@losthorizon - double thank you to you, beau.
