Lust, or lechery (carnal "luxuria") is an intense desire. Lust could be exemplified by the intense desire of money, food, fame, power or sex.

in greek mythology, the beautiful leda was seduced by the god zeus, transforming himself into a swan. swans "are among the very few birds that have an intromittent organ similar in function to the male reproductive organ". that zeus was a horny lot as he had children with leda as well as with other lesser goddesses.
