I really needed a change from the flower pics today! It's been pouring a long steady rain and I wasn't feeling like a taking a wet walk, so I decided to capture a site that makes me smile every time I sit on the deck --- the Winking Man. We've had this guy on a nearby tree for over 10 years and his eye has been missing since the very first year! No sign of it anywhere on the ground near the tree! It must be tucked away in somebody's nest somewhere nearby! I'll always wonder what happened to it!
