Katydid ... a new bug for me since starting 365. And now, after a bit of reading, I find their main diet is plants. Sheeesh! I've been blaming slugs for the leaf and flower eating forays, but clearly they are not the only culprits.

Awesome close up!!! Katydids always make me think of summer nights sleeping with the windows open at my Grandmother's house. I like the sound they make. It's a nice memory! :0)
