We got out bright and early and got some backroads pics then drove about 15 km down the road for a late breakfast. By the time we finished breakfast, the clouds were moving in and the beautiful blue sky was almost gone. There's freezing rain in the forecast for today and tomorrow.
I just love such a beautiful snowy scene. Nice capture, especially with that deep blue sky. Stay off the roads after it rains. That'll make things messy.
@mwarren365, @christiehicks thanks mike and christie, glad you like it. the distance is all relative ... we are about 20km [12 miles] away from any town so travelling that distance is necessary for just about anything we want to do. christie, there's very rarely a day that the weather keeps us from going anywhere ... maybe one day every 2 or 3 years. i'm really enjoying seeing the rest of the world in winter and as well, showing everyone what our winter is like - yay for 365.
This is the kind of shot that winter is all about . . has the most awesome pov and color. A beauty that should be framed! You could sell this one, Anne. :)
