5 hours, 12 gardens - and this was one of the prettiest baskets we saw all day. They look like miniature double wave petunias but I don't really know what they are. [Edit - thanks Elke for the id. They're double calibracoa, I'm guessing Proven Winners' "Superbells"]
I'm still holding out on timeline in fb but I'm ready for the banner shot when they dump me there.
These really are beautiful, Anne. A gorgeous color and such a healthy looking plant! I love your pov and the lighting on them. Did you take a garden tour for these? We have one coming up here and I wanted to go. However, it's been so hot here that one doesn't even feel like going out, much less walking around much. We'll see.
lovely shot and beautiful planter, I agree. . .was your weather such that it wasn't horrifying to visit five gardens? We are so saddened by what the 100+ degree heat for ten days has done to our gardens here in Ohio.
@lyno thanks lyn! yes, weather certainly played a role. All 12 of the gardens were on well water properties and they all showed signs of dryness, some worse than others. Some gardens had actually had plants die from lack of water. i'm barely keeping my own going.
oh yes, this would like great on FB timeline. I'm holding out too Anne!!
i wish my flowers were still pretty like this. Our dry hot weather has pretty much destroyed mine.
