She's probably about ready to move out for the summer but I'm not sure where they go! The Cornell Lab of Ornithology says our area is a year round site for evening grosbeaks. No separate summer breeding site is shown.
Such a pretty bird. I think there is quite a bit they don't know about this species, such as why they no longer come down to the northern US like they used to in winter.
