"No Quick Moves Anyone!"

The water level was dropping quickly on these canoes, which were on day nine of a twelve day trip along the Rideau River. The river/canal is about 200 km long and has 47 locks. It opened in 1832. I'm guessing the empty canoes belonged to the folks we were chatting with at the coffee shop where we had just had breakfast!
