For the past few days we've been seeing a female evening grosbeak that is much paler in colour than the rest of the flock of 40-50 that visit us regularly. She's beside the mourning dove in this pic. We had a similar bird several years ago.

My wife and I were just talking about trying to get somewhere to see these Evening Grosbeaks. You are so fortunate to have them.

Oh my goodness this is amazing. I get excited to see chickadees and my cardinals. How is it there are no squirrels in the midst of these birds. This is a constant fight for me. Do these guys clean up for you.
