One of two ospreys we saw while on the hunt for a solitary sandpiper. It was a grey day, off and on rain, not great for pics but it was a good day for birds ---- except for the sandpiper, who had been in that general location for more than a week, and had already moved on.
Interestingly, I think it was the other osprey who brought this fish to the nest. It seemed like they were going to share and then this one took off with it, to eat it in peace at a nearby tower.
