@Maggiemae truthfully I have no idea. Maybe I was a bit too close? I was shooting in my dining room that has the only window with light and there is not much room. i strung up 2 sets of Christmas lights
@maggiemae You can change the shape of the bokeh by changing your F stop. It also depends on what lens you are using as they have a different number of blades and it is the shape of these blades that will determine the shape of the bokeh.
