Just another processing experiments, please tell me if you think this dosen´t work in your opinion.
What can I say, I love to photograph dogs and I love dogs! I`m very much a dog person, just without a dog:( This great Newfoundlander belongs to a friend.
The composition is spot on. The only thing I would say is that for me, there isn't enough contrast with the rope and the fence behind it - they are almost the same colour. But I don't think there is much that could be done about that. It's a good shot otherwise, you can feel the energy in it and the tones are nice.
I like the shot but I'm not so sure about the pink tones and I agree that there needs to be more contrast. You could tone down the fence a bit by reducing the highlights to get more definition on the rope. The detail on the dog is superb though and all of this is very subjective. If you think it works, then that's the important thing!
Hienon kuvan olet saanut napattua, mustasta nöffistä ei ole niin kovin helppoa saada onnistuneita otoksia, saatikaan jos kyseessä on adhd tapaus joka ei pysy hetkeäkään aloillaan:) well done!
@padlock Thank you Padlock for your comment and thank you for visiting my project
@mercuria Thank you so much Ariel for your great feedback, I really appreciate it. Yes you´re right about the contrast and nothing can really be done about it now. It looks better in a original shot thou, this is just messing it all up
@sturnus Thank you Carol for such a great comment, I really appreciate the feedback. Yes those tones are not usual and I don´t even know why I went there,I had more natural versions to chooce from but as you said it´s all about matter of taste and this pleased me at the time.
@dania No kiitos Dani, kylläpä sitä nytten kehutaan :) Mulla oli koirakuiskaaja apuna ;)
@denidouble Thank you Deni and thank you so much for the fav
@dreamatrix Thank you, yes those are huge dogs. This one is not so huge thou but my sister has one that is as big as veal, that is seriously one big dog!
@nanderson Thank you Nancy, you´re too kind. Those are some jaws.
Oh, I love this experiment! Fabulous processing, love how desaturated colors leave more space to admire the textures and details! And the dog is just beautiful!
Really love the tones...and the dog ! I am not sure if there should be anything 'done' on the fence...do understand the comments about that (contrast e.d.) but for me it is just good as it is..it is just the bit blurred background. Agree with @happysnap about the contrast and detail to the dog.
@sjouk Thank you Sjouk for such a great comment. It was either white fence or some dark backround, then the rope would have been more visible but black dog on black, that´s really a challenge!
A beautiful dog :) I like the composition but would tone the highlights down a little, the fence pops a bit too much. The dog looks great though, a lot of detail in the fur etc., and the exposure is very balanced. The monochrome conversion was a good choice I think and the tone you chose brings a bit of warmth to the shot, I like that. Nice!
@janim Thank you Jani, insightful as always and yes you´re right about the fence. In original version there´s no problem cos there´s green grass ect between the dog and the fence. I´m glad you liked the monochrome tones, couldn´t just post it in original colors cos that would have been too ordinary shot. Beautiful dogs yes they are but they drool so much, which is not cool in my books.

@fotohendriks Thank you Fotohenriks, yes I sure do
@ch1ppy_m1nton Thank you Chippy, the original photo is not overexposed, it´s just this processed version but you´re right it´s too light.
@catherine42 Yes Catherine, those are some jaws

@tristansmum Thank you Stephanie, so would I.
@eu4ria1 Thank you Ria, tyg of war is fun!
@sansjuan Thank you Nita, yes I agree perhaps a little warmer tones could have been a better choice, thank you!
@lunaksi Thank you Lunaksi, really appreciate your saying so
@tiss Yes, they are so into it!
