One of these moments that I had to be fast to capture, no time for camera settings or thinking of composition, just click or lose the moment. The boy surely would stay there but who knows what the dog will do.
I visited my friend´s summer cottage, and she lured me with wine to stay a night, needless to say, I did spend a night there and had a great time. This is my friend´s son and my godson. We were just getting back to cottage after we went swimming at the nearby beach. Of all the pics I took on saturday, I liked this one best cos it has this summerly atmosphere and that childhood easygoing happiness -and yes the shadows.
Everything here is beautiful: the composition, the backlighting and the very effective shadows, the portrayal of childhood exuberance and that "look what I can do" feeling--has to be a fav for me.

this conjures up childhood memories of long lazy days at play (except we were not allowed to have a dog which is why I have two now - LOL).....wonderful capture and fav.
